action alert! Each year, over two million cats and dogs are rounded up and cruelly killed for their meat and fur in China. Prevent Cruelty to Dogs and Cats in China please share it helps!     Dear Indra, There is no law protecting companion animals from abuse, abandonment or outright torture in China. Sign the petition calling for national legislation in China to prevent animal cruelty. In a poll on this issue, 89% of Chinese citizens called for the country to enact anti-cruelty legislation to protect the country's dogs and cats. You can help provide the worldwide pressure necessary to achieve this goal. Animal abuse in China is flagrant and horrifying. Dogs and cats are trucked across the country for days without food or water only to be slaughtered for meat or fur. This cannot be allowed to continue! Tell Chinese officials that it is imperative to protect dogs and cats through anti-cruelty legislation. Thank you for taking action, Sharanya P. Care2 and ThePetitionSite Team c
