in memoriam Today the world lost a hero who fought for the rights of all people, and touched millions in the process. We will miss him, but we will not forget his incredible work and the legacy he left behind. please share it helps!     Dear Indra, Today people across the world are mourning the death of a man who fought ceaselessly for the emancipation of South Africa and became the country's first black president. Throughout his 95 years he has spoken words that ring true for many of us - about equality, about compassion, and about creating change. All of us at Care2 are thinking of him today, and coming to terms with the death of a man who was a hero and a leader for so many of us. Time will allow us to move forward, but for now please join us to say a few words in his honor. Mandela leaves a legacy of equality, democracy and education. It is incredibly important that all of us take his passing not as an end of an age, but as a renewed determination to carry on his work every day. Care2 member Sharon Gelman has created a page on Care2 as a place for us all to come together and share our memories, thoughts, and hopes. Today we invite you to take a moment to honor Nelson Mandela with a message. Thank you, All of us at Care2 PS - Back in August, Sharon wrote a blog post about her memories of Nelson Mandela. It's an incredibly touching read, and we wanted to share it with you. Read it here.
