Dear Indra,

Last quarter, Tata Global Beverages posted profits of £11 million. Yet Amalgamated Plantations, of which Tata is the biggest shareholder, pays the tea plantation workers less than India's minimum wage.

Call on Tata to improve working conditions on tea plantations.

Young girls from poor families have very few options, so when "recruiters" offer children working on tea plantations a better life, they don't have to do much convincing. Once the girls leave, they may never see freedom again.

Tata has the power to change the lives of these girls - some as young as twelve - who are desperate to escape poverty. By ensuring that plantation workers are paid a living wage, they can stop the cycle of poverty that invites traffickers to prey on plantation workers.

Sign the petition asking Tata to stop modern slavery on tea plantations and help fight human trafficking!
