Platforms like TikTok and Instagram provide us with endless videos of cute animals, but recently there has been an explosion of exotic animal and big-cat accounts. It seems unbelievable, but it is still legal to own big cats (even tigers) in many parts of the US.
Keeping wild animals in private captivity is horrifically cruel- even when the intent is good. The Big Cat Public Safety Act will help by prohibiting private individuals from owning big cats and will prevent the public from petting, playing with, and feeding them.
