Animals caught in snares die slow, painful, torturous deaths

Snare traps kill pet dogs and cats, too. Wales Is About to Ban Animal Snares â€" It Is Time the Rest of the UK Does, Too! Sign Now      Indra,   Wales is about to ban cruel and torturous animal snares! This is an amazing victory for animal rights in the country, but leaves wildlife and pets in the rest of the United Kingdom vulnerable.   At any one time, nearly a quarter of a million snares are hidden throughout the British countryside, threatening to kill hundreds of thousands of animals.   Sign now to demand the rest of the United Kingdom follow Wales's lead and ban animal snares!   When an animal steps on the noose of a snare, it quickly closes around their leg and traps them. The poor creature panics, frantically trying to escape, which only makes the noose tighter and tighter. Animals caught in snares die slow, painful, torturous deaths — and no living thing deserves such an awful fate. The worst part about snares is that they are absolutely indiscriminate. Any animal can get caught in a snare, including pet dogs and cats, endangered species, and livestock. Sign the petition to tell the Scottish Parliament, Northern Ireland Assembly, and UK Parliament to ban animal snares for good! Thank you, Miranda Care2 Petitions Team P.S. Imagine walking along, when suddenly your leg is painfully trapped, making you unable to move, escape, find food or water, or seek the comfort of your friends or family.
