Dear Indra,

Bijlee the elephant has suffered her entire life. At 58 years old, she has been overworked and abused for decades. She hasn't been given the proper nutrition or physical care. Recently, she collapsed in the streets of Mumbai and finally got the attention of animal welfare activists in India who want to send her to a shelter to recover.

Tell the Animal Welfare Board of India to end Bijlee's suffering and let her recover in a shelter!

Bijlee deserves to live the rest of her life in comfort and peace, loved and looked after by humans who actually care about her wellbeing. She needs proper nutrition and medical treatment. This gentle giant should not be forced to suffer anymore.

Please speak up for this animal who cannot speak for herself - tell the Animal Welfare Board of India that Bijlee deserves peace.
