Since November 2012, four endangered Bengal tigers have been killed by electrocution in India. If the spread of electricity to rural areas had been regulated, these deaths could have been prevented!

Dear Indra,

Endangered tigers are dying from electrocution in large part because electricity has spread to rural areas without any supervision from electric companies. One tigress died after she came in contact with a live electric line connected to an 11-KV high-tension line hanging from a short pole.

If the electricity had been connected properly, the tigress' life could have been spared. Prevent the needless death of endangered tigers in India: save them from electrocution!

According to the Electricity Act of 2003, when a company commits an offense, everyone who was in charge when it happened, along with the company, should be punished accordingly. Now, we're asking that electric companies be held responsible for the deaths of endangered tigers. They've long been aware of the tiger deaths and have neglected to fix the problems and save tigers. The oversights that lead to tigers' needless deaths shouldn't go unpunished!

Sign the petition demanding justice for these tigers and help prevent more tiger deaths by electrocution!
