Children (and adults) can now enjoy Harry Potter chocolate frogs from Warner Bros. Behind the scenes, however, the making of these chocolate treats relies heavily on child labour. We can change this.

Dear Indra,

A main source of cocoa beans, West Africa provides chocolate treats for many companies throughout the world. Behr, the provider for Warner Bros. chocolate, is one of the companies that sources its cocoa from West Africa. Unfortunately, companies like Behr have been known to use child labour, a cruel form of modern slavery. In fact, Behr scored a miserable 1 out of 48 possible measures to ensure its operations are slavery-free.

Thousands of people have asked Warner Bros. to ensure it does not use child labour, but the company still hasn't responded. Child labourers are forced to work and often punished with beatings if they don't meet quotas. I highly doubt Warner Bros. missed that fact.

We cannot ignore the reality that chocolate helps sustain one of the worst forms of child labour. I'd like to enjoy Harry Potter chocolate frogs with the satisfaction of knowing they were made with fair labour.

Sign your name in support of slavery-free chocolate frogs. Tell the CEO of Warner Bros. to ensure these treats are not the product of child labour.
