Help End Domestic Slavery in Asia please share it helps!     Dear Indra, Modern slavery is alive and thriving in Delhi, India, where women and children stand at risk of being kidnapped and sold into domestic slavery by criminals posing as placement agents. Loopholes in the law make it easy for traffickers to take advantage of those desperate for work, so there is no reason for them to worry about consequences for their atrocious actions. Tell Delhi's Chief Minister to tighten controls on placement agencies and prevent even more women and children from falling victim to modern slavery. The threat of enslavement is rising in India, especially for children, who are more likely than ever to drop out of school and search for work due to rising poverty levels. If this legislation proves effective, it could inspire a tidal wave of similar laws across Asia to fight trafficking. The Delhi High Court has stepped up and called for increased governmental oversight of placement agencies. Tell the Chief Minister to support this initiative and help end slavery.
